Organic Deshi Cow Ghee is made by using traditional methods from cow’s milk. They are fed with green grass, herbs and crop fodder that is seasonally grown on certified organic fields. The milk produced by the cows is collected and processed as per the traditional Indian methods. Our pure Deshi Ghee is free of harmful chemical pesticides, artificial hormones, and GMO’s.
Unpolished products have a higher content of proteins, dietary fiber, vitamins and minerals than polished products.
During polishing of rice and pulses , the husk along with the bran and germ, which contains the natural fiber, is removed to make it look more beautiful. Thus, polished products lose out on their nutrient content.
The best oils are cold pressed. The oil is obtained through pressing and grinding fruit or seeds with the use of heavy granite millstones or modern stainless steel presses, which are found in large commercial operations. Although pressing and grinding produces heat through friction, the temperature must not rise above 120°F (49°C) for any oil to be considered cold pressed. Cold pressed oils are produced at even lower temperatures. Cold pressed oils retain all of their flavor, aroma, and nutritional value. Olive, Peanut, Mustard and sunflower are among the oils that are obtained through cold pressing.
Honey is derived from pollen of wild forest flowers. The process used to extract honey is traditionally hand done with no use of chemicals or heat processes.
All our products are grown indigenously in contracted certified organic farmlands. However we regularly test our products quarterly as an audit for continued certification.
Organic farming does not use external sources for expediting growth and also the yield reduces due to natural causes. Therefore the available crop is lesser quantity compared to demand.
The price difference is 50% to 70% higher than conventional rates.
Most of our products’ shelf life is 12 months except Atta, Oil & Ghee. Shelf life of Atta and Ghee are 6 Months and Oils are 9 months.
We take utmost care during storage and packaging our products. Hygiene is of utmost importance and suitable measures are taken to ensure the same through the various processes.
Food being a sensitive product, you will appreciate that it is natural that there may be some irregularities. In such authentic cases, we will be happy to replace / refund the product.
