- 1 cup grated coconut
- 1/2 tablespoon ghee
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated khoya
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
- 50 gm silver vark
To make this delicious coconut burfi recipe, add grated coconut, sugar, cardamom powder and milk in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the mixture at 60% power for 10 mins or till the mixture is thick.
Now add grated dried khoya to it and microwave the mixture at 60 per cent power for another 5 minutes. Keep stirring the mixture occasionally. Then add 1/2 tablespoon ghee to the mixture and mix it again.
Now, grease a thali with little ghee and spread the microwaved mixture on it. Allow the mixture to cool. Once done, garnish the burfi with the silver vark, cool it and cut into desired shapes. Enjoy this burfi recipe with friends and family.
